1990年7月獲桂林工學(xué)院地質(zhì)系礦產(chǎn)普查與勘探本科工學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。2002年6月獲該校地質(zhì)礦產(chǎn)勘查專業(yè)工學(xué)碩士學(xué)位。2006年6月獲中國科學(xué)院廣州地球化學(xué)研究所天體化學(xué)專業(yè)理學(xué)博士學(xué)位,畢業(yè)后留所任副研究員,并擔(dān)任同位素國家重點(diǎn)實驗室熱電離質(zhì)譜儀?(TIMS)主管。專長TIMS儀器同位素高精度測定技術(shù)開展,及應(yīng)用管理??蒲蟹矫嬷饕獜氖绿祗w化學(xué)的研究,探討太陽系的形成和演化。已經(jīng)在國內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)刊物發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文三十余篇。

主要從事天體化學(xué)的研究,探討太陽系的形成和演化。通過Re-Os、Hf-W、Al-Mg、Mn-Cr、Sr-Nd等多種同位素體系,以及主微量元素特征,對各種不同類型隕石及其組分進(jìn)行研究,探索太陽系的成因模式,揭示太陽星云演化歷史。目前的研究項目和研究興趣主要涉及月球成因、鐵隕石成因和來源等方面的研究。
